Yvonne D’Arcy
Yvonne established Darmah Market Research in 2016. With over 20 years experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, in various sales and market functions, Yvonne has a deep understanding of the industry and challenges facing Pharma executives. In establishing Darmah, Yvonne seeks to embed into Darmah’s purpose this value of ‘living the client’s challenge and thinking as if in the client’s own shoes’.
In this way Darmah aims to bring a value add service to clients through delivering a quality product informed by insight established through a combination of qualitative and quantitative research. It is Darmah’s intention that all research should lead to positive commercial outcomes for clients. Yvonne seeks to bring research findings to clients which can help better understand causal factors and thus create solutions and actions which resolve problems and issues.
Yvonne has the benefit of owning significant brand franchises in a number of different pharmaceutical companies i.e. GSK, Roche and Pfizer. This previous experience means Yvonne has a strong appreciation on the role of customer engagement, the importance of customer feedback, the challenge in changing customer perception, and the overall role for market research. Hence for over 20 years Yvonne was faced with such challenges, now through Darmah, Yvonne is looking to serve the needs of Pharma executives as they look for better commercial outcomes and results.
In addition to working as a marketing executive with a number of pharma companies, Yvonne has experience across a range of therapy areas and thus has a good understanding of the market, and good access to different stakeholders. Yvonne is constantly looking at emerging trends in the Pharma / Healthcare space. Thus Yvonne monitors new developments and innovations that may impact the delivery of healthcare or the role of the patient within the stakeholder set, as well as the implications for the Pharma companies.

Fiona Burke
Fiona is an experienced strategist and business consultant, who brings valuable expertise to Darmah Market Research. Fiona has over 20 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Nutritional industry having held senior leadership positions in a number of pharmaceutical and health care companies (Pfizer, Abbvie and Abbot Nutrition).
Before working with Darmah, Fiona was the General Manager in Ireland for Abbot Nutrition. In addition to leading teams and directing/implementing strategy she has experience across many therapy areas. Fiona has a strong track record in delivering commercial performance and results and brings a range of skills and competencies to Darmah.
Fiona is a council member of the Irish Institute of Management (IMI), she has invested heavily in developing leadership among management teams and has successfully delivered a number of leadership programs. Fiona brings external perspective, provides a challenge as well as offering independent judgment, bringing clarity to the problem statement and helping develop creative solutions.

Danielle Mc Ardle
Danielle is a research consultant and brings strong quantitative and qualitative research capability to Darmah Market Research. Danielle commenced her research career in University College Dublin as a research assistant before moving to project management of RCT’s. More recently Danielle worked with IPSOS wherein she conducted market research primarily across pharmaceutical and healthcare industries working directly with healthcare professionals and patients.
Danielle has extensive experience in a range of research methodologies, having worked on quantitative and qualitative projects within the public and private sectors. Danielle holds a Master’s Degree in Health Psychology from Queen Margaret University, in addition to an Honours Degree in Psychology from the University of Ulster.

Fidelma Kirwan
Fidelma has over 20 years' experience working in research specifically in the food industry. Prior to working with Darmah Market Research, Fidelma was a Laboratory and Sensory Research Manager at Eolas International where she managed both long and short term projects to provide actionable sensory guidance ensuring product success. She has worked closely with a number of multinational companies helping them in product development and in monitoring sensory quality control/assurance. In addition, Fidelma worked on strategic projects to understand how customers consume information with a view to identifying strategies for successful customer interaction.
She was also the principal contractor on a number of research projects commissioned by safefood Ireland.
Fidelma is a graduate of UCC and has a Combined BSc (Hons) in Nutrition and Microbiology and a PhD in Nutrition.
